A rising star from Oklahoma, there’s nothing small-town about Lauren Carnahan – or her story. After being adopted at birth and surviving heart surgery at 4, she received a standing ovation at her hometown church for her very first performance – “Tomorrow” from Annie, a movie that she connected with on multiple levels.
Today, Lauren is a quickly growing star with multiple shows and tours in several states already under her belt. She is recognized by her powerful voice and ability to perform numerous hits, including her own. When she’s not in the studio or choreographing her next show, you can find her on tour or wherever coffee is sold.
She released her debut EP “Out Of Nowhere” to a SOLD OUT crowd in 2014 and has been steadily working on her second which is set for release in 2015. She has been performing her hit “Life of the Party” on tour this year, which will be a featured single on the upcoming EP. Her sound is mature pop with impressive harmonies and electronic infusion. Her voice meshes flawlessly with her tracks and brings them to life in authentic ways.
Lauren joined the Allstar Nation Tour in 2014, with is the nation’s foremost concert-based anti-bullying tour. She has performed for over 40,000 students with the tour and has inspired them with her music and powerful story about bullying experiences growing up. Lauren has won a won a multitude of awards, including, Best New Teen Artist at The Indie Music Channel Awards, Oklahoma’s Voice of the Fair, and runner up in The American Kid’s All-Star Show. She’s made incredible progress the last couple years, but knows that she’s just getting started and plans to make it to the top.
